Work Experience
Lifeguard, Carowinds.
● My duties as a trained lifeguard at Carowinds Amusement park were to establish the waterpark rules to guests as well as ensure their safety.
● My day varied from sometimes working at the front gates greeting/helping guests as well as directing them to places inside the water park or out on the hard park.
● I dealt with situations with lost children, first hand medical help and of course rescues. Most of the time I was on stand scanning water (a lot of focusing and being very attentive) and running around the park multitasking. At the end of the day we all picked up trash, returned lost miscellaneous items to lost and found, and placed all chairs and items back where needed be. Sales Associate, Aéropostale.
● My duties as a Sales Associate were first and foremost greeting and helping customers out around the store. As well as trying to boost sales politely persuading customers to buy certain items or letting them know specials deals/sales going on. I had to unpack shipment loads sometimes in the back. Also if a customer needed a certain size or if a item wasn't out on the floor I would look or retrieve from the back stock room. I also was trained on the register to check guest out and at the end of the day did basic cleaning around the store and restocking/refolding clothes. Education
