Position: Project Manager (International Business Project Manager for LATAM)

International Business Project Management for the Business Unit LATAM, Total CAPEX amount managed equivalent of 80 MM US dollars. Mainly Product Innovation, Capacity expansion and cost saving projects in the category of adult diapers, Feminine, Tissue and Medical Devices (Facemask and tampons). Projects are executed in collaboration with our international teams in EEUU, Europe and LATAM using standard methodologies and best practices for Project Management.

Feb. 2017 – Nov 2019 Essity Group, Ecatepec Site Mexico

Position: Project Engineer

Factory Project Leader in two main projects for business growth (27,5 MM US dollars) Diaper Machine installed and ran in on target with high performance, Tampon s Plant (Hall Preparation, Carding, forming, packaging, HVAC and auxiliary equipment and system) installation, process validation and product qualification applying Local regulation for Medical Devices in 2018 and others 3 projects successfully achieved for process upgrade, performance enhancement, capability and feasibility phases.

Sep. 2015 - Nov 2016 Industria Venezolana de Cemento (former HOLCIM LTD group), Venezuela

Former company from the Holcim Group, LTD, nowadays is a government company since 2010, INVECEM sold over 2,6 MM Tons during 2015, 40% more than 2014 after the Project execution of capacity increase in two plants carry on between 2013 and 2014.

Position: Site Project Manager

10 MMUSD and 35 MMUSD of budget managed along 2015 and 2016 periods for CAPEX Projects distributed in 18 projects mainly CAPEX to maintain and replacement of process ductwork and fans, control, automation and predictive inspection equipment, Storage & Workshop buildings, equipment metallic structures, nuisance and process filters and several main and auxiliary equipment and systems of mills and cement kiln, “CAPEX for expansion and optimization” as fuel oil trucks to reduce transportation costs, auxiliary systems for clay crusher and business plan for the new production in Cumarebo’s site. As project manager, the CAPEX strategic plan 2016-2021 was developed whit stakeholders and steering committee, in consequences new policies targets and index for project management was fixed according to international PMI and ISO 21500 requirements.

2005 – 2015 HOLCIM (Venezuela).

Position: Project Engineer

Responsible in the coordinator and engineering of projects for the cement industry in two different sites. Executed and completed more than 30 projects to maintain, Expansion, Business continuity, quality, Environment, cost saving and performance improvement. Key Projects achieved: Engineering, erection and successful start-up of Kiln after Capacity increase from 3.000 to 3.700 ton of clinker/day as project leader. (100 MM of us dollars); Engineering, erection and successful start-up of a 4th generation dynamic separator for cement mill achieving cement production increase of 10% (20 MM of us dollars); Ductwork replacement for raw mill and preheater tower (4,7 MM of us dollars); Packing Machines (3.600 bags/hour) and automatics palletizers, cement dispatch production capacity increased from 136 to 308 ton per hour (5,7 MM of us dollars); Bucket elevator upgrade for cement mill operation (445.000 us dollars); Plant Bag Filters upgrade standardizing according with European rules enhancing environmental performance (650.000 us dollars).

Main Project and Key Achievements:

Project Management for plant expansion and process optimization in personal Care and Cement industry.

2022 Ongoing three converting line (2 in Mx and 1 in Bra) and three Product Innovation Projects.

2019-2021 Two Converting line for Feminine Towels started at April and June 2021

2020: Two Face mask line started up in Sept 2020

2017-2018: Hall Preparation and Tampon s Plant installation and running April 2018

2017-2018: Diaper Machine Project Installation and running in March 2018

2014-2016: CAPEX as interim site project manager Plan & budget successfully executed for campaign 2014-2015, in 2016 was the transition.

2005-2014: Cement Portfolio project engineering and execution as project engineer mainly for Capacity increase (kiln, mills, Bagger 6 palletizing system), process upgrade, capex to maintain, cost saving, environmental & safety project.
