While in role thus far, generated over $1,000,000 for company.
Ensure positive and efficient flow of operations through quick decision-making; frequent equipment calibrations and maintenance; constant troubleshooting of issues causing potentially catastrophic and costly well shutdowns; development of worksheets to assist with platform organization and well drilling execution.
Utilized strong knowledge and communications skills to train several field operators on processes, technical aspects of wireline, and safety; additionally, formally trained operators via CTA (commentary task assessments) over multiple wireline specific topics.
Currently working on development and implementation of wide-spread district policies focused on improving quality and efficiency.
Successfully passed “controls” comprehensive exam as requisite to assuming field engineer position; topics included (but not limited to) operations management, wireline, health, safety and environment specific topics, and corporate structure. Additionally, passed and finished ranked 3rd in intense PEPTEC wireline class.
Field Engineer Intern, Coiled Tubing Services (June 2014 – August 2014)
Assigned to coiled tubing segment and acquired valuable experience observing and contributing to field engineer and operator responsibilities while simultaneously spearheading vital 8-week assignment project; shadowed mentor during 11-day on/3-day off shifts as well as during 24/7 on-call response.
Project Assignment: Conducted fatigue analysis and recommended methods reducing wear on 2 3/8” coiled tubing; analyzed life of retired string of coiled tubing; collected and analyzed previous job data; performed financial analysis providing insight into cost savings; presented project results and offered 3 policy recommendations reducing fatigue and increasing life of coiled tubing to management and engineers.
Underwent proper training and secured certifications to access and perform internship responsibilities including equipment operations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
Utilized technology including CoilCAT, CoilCADE and CoilScan (applicable to Schlumberger coiled tubing).
