WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Currently working as a Network Engineer in IBM India Pvt Ltd, on the pay role of Info services, for Bharti Airtel Project since June 2014.

Job Responsibility:

Handling day to day operations in Datacenter

Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers (2811, 3845) Cisco switches (2960, 3750&3750X, 4507R & 4948 Series).

Bundling multiple links by means of enabling Ether-Channel or Multilink.

Managing the Network for entire South Region (AP,KK,TN& KL) and managing Disaster Recovery Setup also.

Coordinate with Circle engineers and troubleshooting in Physical connectivity and configuration issues.

Generating DR Link Utilization Report of Bandwidth on daily Basis

Implementation of GSD & SHC Process.

Coordinate with Cisco Teams for any device replacement or Module Replacement and if any help required to resolve Technical Issues.

Ticket purpose we are using "MAX IT"Tool and close the Service Requests and Incidents with in SLA and coordinate with Concern Team or Requester to resolve issues on Priority.

Prepare Weekly Report and WAN Links utilization Report for every week, Mac binding for users Systems using Infoblox Tool and Provide the IPs for requester using IPAM (IP Address Management) Tool as per the request.

As part of Refresh, we will replace the Old devices with New device and upgrade with the latest IOS version.

Monitor Device alerts or Interface alerts on mobile phone . If we have observed any Interface high utilization and coordinate with Concern Teams for any Link down issues we will coordinate with Service Provider.

Generating MPLS Utilization report for entire south on weekly basis using ITNM.

Take the backup of devices on a regular basis, ensure critical services diagrams, Network & Logical diagrams.
