PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH FIELD 2010 – Present

Recovery Housing –– On site Manager of multiple houses. Interacted with clients in group and individual counseling sessions, assigned daily chores, conducted urine analysis. Demonstrated my personal commitment to recovery by sponsoring men, attending 12 step meetings, having a sponsor, working steps, and doing service at the individual, group, area and regional levels.

Behavioral Health Technician – Interact with clients, provide transportation, facilitate therapeutic group sessions, and conduct urine analysis. Utilized KIPU program.

12 STEP SERVICE 2008 – Present

Current Vice Chairperson of Area Service Committee. Assist with facilitation of monthly meetings, oversee multiple subcommittees, and personally backfill open positions.

Current Treasurer of Activities Subcommittee. Responsible for all monies raised and spent through Activity Committee events.

Current Chairperson of Public Relations Subcommittee. Responsible for facilitating monthly meetings, keeping meeting schedules up to date, answering the phone helpline, and meeting with the public to explain 12 step recovery.

Warehouse Manager - Direct management of 10 employees. Responsible for hiring staff, personnel training and development. Responsible for real time scheduling, routing and delivery of wholesale orders to local distributors and key customers. Required efficient planning to decrease delivery wait times, reduce mileage and associated delivery costs and increase customer satisfaction. Required focus on exceeding customer expectations, maintaining professional relationships, developing and motivating staff.

Counter Service – Take phone and walk-in orders, identify, locate and retrieve parts, create invoices, finalize sales. Required to learn and stay current on multiple product lines, inventory systems, catalogs, industry related and general retail computer systems. Required ability to multi task to manage multiple customers and orders in various stages of the completion and still meet customer expectations for speed and accuracy.

Outside Sales – Onsite at customer locations, design and build a customer inventory of most frequently used parts so the customer could increase their efficiency and reduce the amount of capital tied up in inventory. Required the ability to build relationships and trust with clients to understand their unique needs and analyze their financial/physical capacity to maintain an inventory of parts.
