CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCE WORKER

* Responsible for floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing of areas that include offices, patient rooms, classrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas.

* Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, walls, etc.; cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc in restrooms, break rooms and/or kitchenettes; Follows the procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

* Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms and kitchen; sweeps, mops, vacuums and/or hand scrub floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners

* Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas; wipes down walls and woodwork, doors, wall hangings, baseboards, etc.; identifies potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to client in the comments section on the customer checklist.

* Ensures facility is locked and secured when finished with daily tasks; handles special requests for customers as appropriate and complies with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting.

HOUSEKEEPER STOCK INVENTORY

* Dusts all other fixtures and fittings, including skirting, radiators, pipes, fire extinguishers and any other surfaces within reach; weekly wet-wipes all skirting boards; dusts all lamp shades and bulbs; dusts all ceiling and wall extraction fans and wipe the area around grills

* Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment; verifies information against invoices, orders, or other records; assembled cardboard shipping products and Inserted items into containers using protective padding; unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper
