MANAGEMENT
I’ve been a manager a Taco Bell for two years and a half now. My everyday duties were to make sure the store was moving smoothly, meaning I had to make sure the food was being given out quickly and correctly, make sure the labor was fair, check the food for proper temperatures, and create a great working environment.
COMMUNICATION
I interact with plenty of customers on a daily bases so communication was a must before I was able to put on a manager shirt. I learned that its not what you say but how you say it.
LEADERSHIP
Of course being a manager you will have to have some type of leadership skills. When a customer gets upset at a team member, it is my responsibility to dispute the situation, satisfy the customer, as well as discuss with my team member what to do next time in a similar situation. By keeping myself calm and having open hears with my full attention provided, I am showing others how to professionally handle hostile situations.
