SUMMARY:

I have more than 20 years of experience in program and project/construction management working for educational and commercial clients. I have developed design guidelines, conducted assessments, master planning, budgeting and scheduling at the program level, and led project and construction management projects from planning through closeout. Previously I was a general contractor in high end residential, new construction, renovations and light commercial industries. I am a Certified Educational Facility Planner.

Assessments, budgeting, scheduling and working with Architects and stake holders to develop site plans through CD’s for the Plano ISD Planning and Construction department. Multiple bond programs totaling more than $1 Billion. Project Manager for $40 million Full-Day Kindergarten program additions in 38 Elementary schools. Developed a maps project for nearly 8 million square feet and initiated a response program with Police and Fire departments. San Antonio, Texas May, 1997 Position: Installation Supervisor - Comsat RSI Site construction for communications towers; including foundations, utilities location and installation, drilling and pouring foundations(the smaller towers required a minimum of 8’ diameter and 30’ deep). Coordinate tower construction, antenna installation, lightning arrest grounding systems and all subcontractors.

Supervised renovation of a 10,000 sq.ft. office building for Groves & Associates corporate headquarters located on the San Antonio Riverwalk and the construction of a 5,000 sq.ft. custom residence for an officer of the corporation. In addition to managing in-house construction projects, provided construction inspection services designed by the firm; including public housing, schools and athletic facilities, 20-unit housing development for the Kickapoo Indians, 4 Neighborhood Recreation Centers(tilt wall), recreational park in Laredo Texas, and supervised the completion of a 50-acre river walk park, including water features in Uvalde, Texas.

Oct, 1992 - H Bar H Construction San Antonio, Texas May, 1994 Position: Construction Manager/Carpenter This company specialized in carpentry, ranged from the framing of churches to lease space finish out in high rise buildings. We serviced contracts with multiple home building companies to install stairs, cabinets and total trim packages, also built multiple houses in the Medina Lake area.

$2.2 million ranch house compound with 12,000 sq.ft. under roof; 11 acres secured and landscaped, a 50’ x 75’ swimming pool with propane fueled emergency fire pump and generator system, specializing in remote locations building high end residential, ranch and farm structures. I was an authorized contractor for the sales and construction of pre-engineered metal buildings, including the American Legion and Zapata County News. I operated a full service cabinet shop which produced custom cabinetry, trim, and furniture including welding services for steal requirements.
