PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have worked 25 years in the HSE Field. I began my career working for various drilling rig companies. I have led many training sessions in HSE Policies, Procedures and Corporate Programs. Over the years I have achieved respect of my peers through my willingness to not only listen to their concerns, but to listen to their ideas of finding better ways to achieve an incident free workplace. I am an accomplished leader and have the ability to not only manage people, but to manage the HSE department as well. I have outstanding inter-personal skills in dealing with different departments in an organization as well as clients and their requirements. My main success is Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) and dealing with the cultural aspects of people. My main belief is not to change the culture, but to change the undesirable behaviors within the culture, to bring people on board where safety is not just a mindset, but a way of life. Clients I have worked with in the past years include Chevron, Shell, Conoco Phillips, Anadarko, Petrobras, BP, Hess, BHP Billiton, just to name a few. I have worked on several jobs with Petrobras and the BW Offshore FPSO group. Types of jobs I have been associated with are Pipeline Projects, Tree Installations, Umbilical Installations, Jumper Installations, Pipeline touchdown monitoring (ROV), Tooling, and Fabrication Yards, MOB-DEMOB Operations, and Setting of Mattresses. I have worked closely with Survey departments to ensure HSE is a top priority. Manufacturing clients vendor management for many years. Experience stretches across industry with major involvement in Manufacturing, Construction, Fabrication . I have written BBS programs that have been a huge success in the safety and well- being of all employees.
