Used Mikrokators, dial indicators, A/R gauges and optical comparators.

Also used Crib Master software to issue job requests, issue tools, inventory, create new kits when kits return issue usable tools back into stock and some tool grinding.

Job duties included taking job orders assigned by the lead man, grind parts to blue print specifications, making sure that the quality of the parts fell within specification of given guidelines, and checking special tapers in the inspection department. I was also trained in calibrating measuring instruments. Therefore, I was responsible for documenting outside calibration into the company computer database, and updating calibrations for employees' tools. Inspected parts using micrometers, indicators, comparators along with other tools.
