Objective
My primary objective is to provide expert quality, evidence-based medical/advanced practice primary care services in the outpatient setting. I strive to partner with each patient in achieving and maintaining optimal physical, emotional, and psychological health. In every patient interaction I put the “care” in healthcare services.

All Medical Staffing July 2015 to present
Providing a full range of Medical/Advanced Practice Nursing Care on a per diem basis in a variety of clinical settings. This includes family practice clinics, on-site employer based health and wellness clinics, and urgent care facilities.
CareHere! December 2014 to present
Nurse Practitioner PRN/Cover provider for CareHere! Providing Family Practice services within CareHere! on-site clinics for self-funded employer groups and municipalities throughout the Metro Denver area. Practice model embraces a wellness, health promotion, heath risk reduction orientation and includes health education and coaching. Role and responsibilities include full spectrum of family practice services such as well male/well woman exams and care, evaluation and treatment of orthopedic injuries, acute and chronic illnesses and conditions, preventive care services, triage/referral of patients for specialist care as clinically indicated.

Provided evidence-based family healthcare services for everyday medical needs as an independent NP led practice. Practice was closed due leasing challenges and lack of available handicap accessible office space and parking.
Take Care Health/Walgreens July 2010 to June 2014
Provided medical/advanced nursing care as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a retail clinic setting. In my role I provided expert healthcare with a high level of autonomy and service for a broadly diverse community. In this setting I treated both acute and chronic health conditions in patients 18 months and older and performed pre-employment and school sports physicals. I provided patient education and coaching on a variety of health topics. My role included use of excellent oral and written communication skills and use of a Windows based EMR system. In addition, I co-trained colleagues and new employees. In October, 2013 I transferred to the Healthcare Clinic at Walgreens in Federal Heights, Colorado.
Indian Health Service – San Carlos Hospital SDA Clinic – Family Nurse Practitioner December 2009 - May 2010
I provided all aspects of primary care medical services for people of all ages at the San Carlos Apache Indian reservation. My role included diagnosis of acute and chronic medical conditions, referral and treatment for psychiatric and behavioral health issues, referral for specialist care as clinically indicated, ordering and interpreting lab and x ray data when medically indicated.

Staff/Charge Nurse July 2005–January 2010
Provided culturally competent skilled nursing care at Hacienda’s Los Niños Hospital, a non-profit hospital serving neonates through teens, many with special needs. Responsibilities include direct patient care, supervision of other staff, and advocacy for all hospitalized patients and their families. Provided nursing care for developmentally disabled adults through Hacienda’s Innovative Staffing Agency.
