Plant Engineer/ Facilities Maintenance

Preform electrical and plumbing work as needed, installation and rework.

Troubleshoot equipment and solve equipment-related problems.

Visually inspect plant and plant operation for unsatisfactory and unsafe conditions.

Log equipment reading and parameters daily.

Respond to critical situations, ie, power interruptions, water leaks, chemical spills, and facilities and equipment needs.

Operated numerous power tools, handheld and stand mount.

Provide maintenance support for shift operations, including but not limited to repairs and PM’s for dock equipment, forklift, conveyors, and other duties necessary to support operations.

Install new equipment or work with outside vendors on installation.

Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on systems, machinery and equipment.

Trouble shooting of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Assist in establishing and maintaining maintenance standards and procedures.

Work in safe and healthy manner, strictly following all safety rules and regulations.

Perform duties assigned by Supervisor.

Rebuilt the machines and fixed what ever problems that would arise during shift.

Electrical Diploma from JF Drake Technical College, Huntsville Al.

Obtained OHSA certification, Member National Technical Honor Society.
