Projects
A college a class that I had taken was called “Structured Media.” For a finals grade we were instructed to take a four bedroom home. The customer would give us a set budget, and list all equipment like 42” TV for each room and if it would be a desktop or laptop in each room. Phones for each room, security cameras for each room including the outdoors, and basically make a diagram of a small network for the four bedroom home. All cabling and wiring whether it would be STP, UTP, Coax, or Straight Though cables. After diagram was completed we would add in our cast for parts and hourly. Even a service charge for us even coming out.
