KIID Broker Upload Functionality

Project Description

Before investing to the UCITS fund group, the investor would have to read the 2 Paper KIID (Key Investor Introduction Document) document and provide the confirmation to the Broker/Manco. To base this confirmation the Transfer Agent/Manco will activate the KIID pre-contractual control.

Responsibilities/ Contributions

EOE (Electronic Order Entry): I have worked on EOE. In which xml was sent electronically by sender and output was received by receiver. I have worked on both single xml and batch xml.

Marketing File Changes: These are the Files based on character which will be used to input the data by character position based. New required field are added as per requirement and four new reports are generated based on the data Available in brokerage controls and Accounts Controls.

Phase 1 : Multiple Foreign Exchange Rates

Phase 2 : Fast File Enhancement

Project Description

Phase 1 : We have enhanced iFAST to support foreign exchange rate files from multiple sources. All existing banking service provider foreign exchange rates are based in pounds sterling. Client will also receive a separate foreign exchange rate file.

Phase 2 : This enhancement has the ability that IFDS UK will take on and support the onshore side of the business using their investor record keeping system iFAST.

Responsibilities/ Contributions

I have worked with UIR team. This team was responsible for all user interface related task for application iFast.

UIR Setup: I have created the basic data fixes. I have worked on various modes like ADD, MODIFY mode. I have made front end user input field I have also made the progress validation to input the correct value.

Database (Schema Changes): I have loaded the new schema according to requirement of project. I have also done the dumping of table for proper format. I have implemented new tables, new fields, new indexes, new sequences and new DB triggers.

Reports: I have worked on Transaction Marketing File and Fund Marketing File. This report use some filter criteria to generate the report. I have also provided the validation. Reports are generated in ASCII and TEXT format. I have done the user interface coding and data extraction logic and made various procedures as per requirement.

T550 TFSA Specimen Number Changes

Project Description

Enhancement of the T550 and TFSA specimen number changes were done. New reports need to be created to display the new screen changes and values of Specimen Number.

Responsibilities/ Contributions

Enhanced the code for new screen changes for the T550 and TFSA Specimen screen. Was involved in generating new reports which included the new changes done to the T550 and TFSA calculations.
