Developed a system to address the issue of discrepant material accountability between a specific carrier and our receiving dock. Realized cost avoidance of $18,000 annually.

Senior Engineering Technologist

Coordinated the effort to bring the Special Project Facility on-line. The Special Project had unique ES&H issues and I successfully completed the required tasks to receive approval from the appropriate agencies.

Identified and evaluated all the requirements for obtaining approval. These requirements were extensive and called out in many different regulations, documents and procedures. I pulled all the requirements together and developed the methods and plan to meet them.

Coordinated and performed several tasks simultaneously to meet the requirements. Trained and arranged training for personnel in 33 different required areas. Coordinated the completion of the Chemical Carcinogen Safety plan, noise, ventilation surveys, air sampling, stack sampling, ensured all MSDSs were available, posting proper signage, and arranged all the reviews with the Department of Energy, city and state permitting agencies, and our internal ES&H group.
