Haemonetics Corp: August 2013-July 2014 (6 month contract extended)
Industrial Design Consultant
- Designed the next generation of Tyveks, labels, and packaging for Haemonetics’ blood management systems.
- Generated Solidworks models, Illustrator drawings, and Photoshop renderings.
- Provided medical personnel with product information and packaging that presented a hierarchy of information, along with clear directions on the use of Haemonetics’ next-gen blood management systems.
- Populated and created BOMs in Agile.
- Lead in several projects, coordinating work and responsibilities with project members.
S&H Engineering: August 2009-August 2013
Industrial Designer
- Lead in the design and fabrication of prototypes and components for a variety of industries.
- Generated Solidworks models, Illustrator drawings, and Photoshop renderings.
- Programed and operated mills, lathes, and Bridgeports using MasterCam.
- Efforts directly responsible for an increase in customer satisfaction due to design improvements inproduct ergonomics and human interface.
Sun Oracle Corp: February 2009-August 2009 (6 month contract)
Industrial Design Consultant
- Designed and developed the external look and human interface of Sun’s next generation servers.
- Created enclosure external control drawings, system logos, and service instruction labels.
- Efforts directly contributed to the launch of Sun’s Aurora Program, the companies first 1U and 2U rackmounted spark based server products.
- Generated Solidworks models, Illustrator drawings, and Photoshop renderings.
- Hired as a consultant after having completed an internship in the summer of 2005. Was the first East Coast design intern in the company’s history.
