SUMMARY

An experienced banker, with three decades of service in a leading Private Sector Bank, aspiring to become an ideal online tutor on Accountancy. I acquired the knowledge of accounting not only from my service in the bank, but also by completing a banking course “Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers”, a course which every bank employee wants to complete for enrichment of his banking knowledge. I joined as Clerk Cum Typist in ING Vysya Bank Ltd (now merged with Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd) at the far end of the year 1978 and worked for 34 years covering 6 bank branches at four places (Kumbakonam, Vellore, Chennai, and Coimbatore). My Career started with frontline manual operations and ended with fully mechanized systems. I availed Voluntary Retirement during 2013 on medical grounds.

Well versed with frontline operations, preparation of balance sheets, analysis of balance sheets, attending customer related issues, ATM operations, tallying books of accounts, email correspondence with higher ups. I am a professional typist, handled many critical matters.

I have sufficient experience in Crisis Management and got appreciation from my superiors for God’s Gift. Mild mannered, serving the clientele with smile, and handling tough customers are my hallmarks.

1. Passed B.Sc.(Mathematics) during 1977 with First Class from Voorhees College, Vellore

2. Got B.Ed. Degree from Government College of Education, Vellore during 1978 in the fond hope of becoming a good teacher.

3. Cleared the prestigious banking Diploma Course “CAIIB” conducted by Indian Institute of Bankers during 1984 and got in depth knowledge of Banking, Mercantile Laws, Accounting (including Management Accounting and Analysis of Financial Statements) and Finance of Foreign Trade.

I am 58 years old; could not relocate to other places, hence decided to take online/offline classes on Accounting and Mathematics. I can handle Accounting Classes up to College level and Mathematics up to High School level. I have one year experience in this field and feedback from the students is good. I have sufficient Computer and updating my knowledge regularly through Internet.
