Project summary:
Speech recognition is the process of automatically recognizing a certain word spoken by a particular speaker based on individual information includes in the speech waves. This technique makes it possible to use the speakers voice to verify his/her identity and provide controlled access to services like voice based biometrics, database access services voice based dialling,ATM security etc..

ACTIVITIES:
oParticipated in a National Level Tech fest held at BITM BELLARY in 2011 on the recent trends in Electronics.
oUnderwent a course from the CLHRD, Department of learning and development, Mangalore.
oPresented a Technical Paper on the Biometric Recognition for authentication in the Tech-Maze held at Tiptur.
EXTRA ACTIVITIES:
oBagged the first prize in carom at inter college competition.
oOwned first place for Funky dress and third for Gunny bag show in college fest held at KIT Tiptur in March 2012.
