Senior Product Manager – Special Products and Chemicals – Linde India Limited (Jan’2012 to Present)
• Strategy Development – Overall development of strategies for a Line of Business to achieve revenue and profitability targets at the country level.
• Strategy Execution – Support growth targets through executing effective commercial market/product/channel strategies down to the Market Zones /Sales level. Driving initiatives and planning efforts to maximize growth and margin performance.
• Price Management - Monitor product costs and profit performance of product lines, Identify pricing opportunities, and track implementation of key pricing initiatives or targets against plan
• Product - Deliver sales and margin performance at the country level. Identify deviations and deliver mitigation plans to improve product/portfolio performance. Identify product opportunities by customers & ensure optimization of product portfolio
• Competitor Monitoring - Understand local & regional competitor strengths and weaknesses and expected/typical behavior.
• Capability Development - Develop employee capability (Country Sales/BD Teams) required to implement Country SPC initiatives.
• Stewardship - Manage products responsibility to ensure all local, state and national regulations are complied with.
• Technical Competency – Improve team’s technical competencies by supporting training at the sales representative level. Provide relevant commercial and technical competency development
• Supply Chain - Ensure supply chain is responsive to market demands and manages cost of product effectively. Leads Strategic sourcing initiatives in collaboration with the Procurement division
• Project Management - Manage projects effectively to ensure maximum return for Country and all affected countries Achievements
• More than 150% increase in OP, from 2012 to 2013, and over 100% increase in OP from 2013 to 2014. A result of product mix optimization.
• A member of the “Linde Cluster Talent Circle”, a group identified as future leadership, comprising of 7 young performers, out of over a thousand employees in the cluster (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka)
• Certified Six Sigma – Green Belt : Underwent training, and delivered a project turning around the customer perception about the company.

Regional Change Manager – RSE – Linde Gas Asia Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) (May’2011 to December’ 2011)
• Responsible for Strategising, Planning and executing change management across Region South East Asia (RSE) and RGC
(Region Greater China), involving 11 countries, and as many as 7 different languages.
• Involved working under pressing schedules and timelines, and exposure across the organization. Executive – Marketing Services – BOC India Limited (A Member of the Linde Group) (August’09- May’2011)
• Managing Launch of a New Product range, with emphasis on Branding and Customer Focus. The biggest challenge is to Drive Change, internally in BOC and at the Customers Place.

• Awarded the ‘Industry Champion’ award in a business strategy game simulating globally competitive industry conducted at IIT Kanpur. Senior executive of the company which stood first against 11 other companies represented by MBA students Coordinator – iDeas, Megabucks’08 – ‘The International B-Plan Competition’
• Won the Best Coordinator award, in the Megabucks 08 team
• Led a team of 15 people; a two fold increase in participation (200 teams).
• Increased the prize money to a sum of Rs. 1.5 lakhs (100% increase) with additional 750,000 Canadian Dollars.
• Brought in participation from foreign universities like Stanford, for the very first time in IIT Kanpur. Coordinator – Institute Gliding Club (2007-08)
• Rejuvenated the club by a stark threefold increase in participation for ‘Glider Pilot Licence’ training programme and by running training sessions and joy rides throughout the year
• Organized special joyride sessions in Techkriti’08 and Antaragni’07 for the first time ever, which witnessed an overwhelming participation of more than 600 students
• Accelerated the purchase of a New Glider and completed the deal within six months of my tenure Others
