Summary
I have a background in Microsoft .Net 2.0 as well as SQL, C++, and Javascript & HTML knowledge. Also, currently learning Python for data analysis and simulation via My goal is to acquire and thrive at an entry-level job in software programming / software engineering.
Versatile and detail-oriented with 10+ years in high tech/manufacturing semiconductor industry. Effective at leading projects to optimize process resulting in defect reduction, cycle time improvement. Effective at finding areas for process improvements, devising solutions and following through to completion, with follow-up to measure results using SPC (statistical process control), data analysis, etc. FMEAs. Very effective communicator, both written and orally and with highly technical information as well.
Experience
HRL Laboratories (Employed by Apollo Technical Services – Temporary Contract)
Malibu, CA)
Process Development Engineer Jan 2014 – March 2014
Hands-On Fabrication of III-V Materials (GaAs, GaN, InP, etc) in the area of advanced GaN, HBT, and HEMT devices and circuits. Most of my work involved helping with transitioning from paper travelers to paperless travelers.
AT&T
Canoga Park, CA Oct 2012 – Jan 2014
Uverse Premises Technician
Install and troubleshoot Uverse VOIP, Internet, and TV at customer premises. Troubleshooting as a Uverse Premises Tech includes all components from the Cross-Connect, typically a few blocks from the home, to the Set Top Box, Residential Gateway, and Customer Computer.
SolarTecUSA Van Nuys, CA 2011-2012
Solar Sales Consultant
Generate and work leads composed of solar installation companies from across the country, to sell them our solar components – PV Panels, Inverters, Racking systems, Balance of system components, etc.

Paid actor in feature film. Paid for 10/1/10 – 10/15/10
Dallas Independent School District 2009-2010
Substitute Teacher
I was a substitute teacher for students in the Dallas Independent School District.
Texas Instruments Dallas, TX 1999-2009
Photolithography Process Engineer (2005-2009)
Photoresist Coat/Bake/Develop Track and Stepper/Scanner process optimization (TEL ACT8,LITHIUS/FSI/DNS TRACKS; NIKON/ASML SCANNERS) which improved cycle time. Effective at troubleshooting defects related to photoresist track process resulting in defect reduction. Optimization of Resist coat recipes to minimize thickness range and troubleshoot other coat issues which could affect yield. Qualifying resists for use in process, using spin curves, DOF & exposure latitude curves, FEM’s, handcoating when necessary. Troubleshooting of defects by running wafer splits varying photoresist process conditions to determine cause/solution. Frequent contact with various Resist Vendors for daily work as well as to drive QC Stories for issues that needed to be corrected to prevent incidents from happening again/FMEA’s. Successfully delivered robust solutions to process issues causing Optimization and creation of ASML scanner recipes resulted in reduction of scanner rejects which translated to reduced cycle time, hold time, and rework rate for lots at those Pattern levels. Acted as Liaison to Finance Department, responsible for forecasting and tracking of all photo resists used in the factory. This includes monthly forecasting and meeting my forecasts to within 4% and cost reduction projects with monthly forecasts $1.5M.
Texas Instruments
Photolithography Process Technician (1999-2004)
Helped to develop and characterize new photo resist processes, which included hand coating of wafers and troubleshooting of resist uniformity issues, etc.
Responsible for keeping cycle time and hold time low by keeping lot holds to a minimum, which required writing/troubleshooting KLA Overlay, KLA and Hitachi CD SEM, Nikon Exposure tool, recipes. Created needed recipes on KLA CDSEM, AMAT CD SEM, KLA Overlay tool (RDM Recipes), ASML and Nikon Scanner recipes. Some experience in writing/troubleshooting recipes on Scatterometer tool which was used in some of the newer process in lieu of the CDSEM . Responsible for completion of Engineering Work Requests. Responsible for the training of new Process Technicians
Hitachi Semiconductor Irving, TX 1995-1998
Yield Enhancement Technician (1996-1998)
Responsible for defect inspection and review of lots flagged for YE.
Responsible for taking needed action to shut down tools determined by YE to be the source of defects which would affect yield.
Dispositioning of YE hold lots
