Dear Recruiter,

Per your advertisement, I would like to submit my application for subject position for your review and consideration. Please find attached my resume. I have spent 30 years with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), performing a variety of communications and records management functions. My experience includes processing all correspondence and mail by routing, logging, and controlling; establishing and maintaining USAID Mission’s filing system. I am a dynamic communications and records manager committed to excellence with multiple clerical and administrative skills – filing, maintenance, inventory, scanning, planning, review, and delivery – to administer and operate complex, non-routing incoming communications and other correspondence.

I am confident that my background demonstrates that I possess the aptitudes and skills that this position \requires. Most of my entire career with USAID has been in the communications and records management functions. What may be of particular relevance to this position is that my 30 years with USAID have been dedicated exclusively to the competencies of a Communications and Records Manager: to perform the full range of communication support which included scanning and e-filing of official documents and other digitalizing tasks, opening and processing in-coming and outgoing correspondence and mail, determining rapid dissemination to the appropriate addressee, and proper handling of day-to-day management of communications and records and delivering them in a timely manner.

I will gladly respond to any inquiries you may have with regard to this expression of interest.

Sincerely,

Djibanoudiaw Bassene
