May 1986- January 1991; Arts Marketing, Inc- Houston, TX; (a Canadian based company that had several contracts to manage subscription/fund raising campaigns for many non-profit arts organizations in the US). Through my association with the company, I worked on the Houston Symphony and the Houston Ballet subscription and fund raising campaigns. Concurrently, I also worked with Stephen Dunn and Associates on the Houston Grand Opera subscription campaign.
February 1991 – March 1994; Factor Fox and Associates, Los Angeles, CA; (a company specialized in providing membership subscription and fund-raising marketing services for PBS stations, fine arts and social leaning organizations.) I started as a phone representative with the last position held prior to company filing for bankruptcy- Call Center Operations manager.
September 1994 – December 1999; Promotional Development Services, Pacoima, CA. (a company that specialized in providing fulfillment services to products advertised through Direct Response Infomercial TV media.) This included receiving orders generated through advertised toll-free phone numbers, their processing and inventory acquisition, control, and maintenance to packing the associated products and shipping them directly to the individual customers while all along catering to all associated customer service issues and their resolution through a state-of-the-art call center. I started as phone representative at the customer service center and left as the Director of DR Operations as the company was being sold. The same company was sold many times since and currently is part of E-Bay enterprises.
April 2000 – October 2001; Super Shuttle, San Fernando, CA; owner/operator.
April 2002 – November 2012; Ronco, Inc. Austin, TX- (a company founded by Ron Popeil the inventor of many well known TV advertised house-hold products.) Since 2006, the company was sold many times and severally changed locations and company name of record, as well; from Chatsworth and Simi Valley, CA to NYC, New York and now with Austin, TX address. I started at the customer service call center and transitioned through many posts from a telemarketing coordinator and media analyst to the Director of Direct Response Operations in 2008. I retired in October 2012. I currently maintain an ad hoc consulting relationship with the company.
