PROJECTS

NAVASOTA: Highly ambitious Project to provide FTOS (Dell force10 operating system) for forwarding switch (dell force10MXL) for Dell Blade server M1000e. The Dell blade server solutions are built around their new M1000e enclosure that can hold their complete range of server blades and an extensive range of I/O modules like Ethernet switches, fiber- channel switches with FTOS.

Responsibilities: Development and Debugging the issue raised in L2 features (STP, RSTP, PVST, LACP, FRRP, MAC Learning etc.)

Z9000: Supports a full suite of Ethernet switching and routing protocols with the hardened Dell Force10 FTOS operating system.

Responsibilities: Development and debugging the issues in L2 features(Spanning tree protocol, RSTP,MSTP,PVST, Vlan, MLL, Sticky mac, LACP etc.) raised . S6000 : S6000 is all 40GbE top-of-rack switch purpose-built for applications in high- performance data center and computing environments, with Broadcom trident 2 board. Responsibility: Development work for Trident to Trident2 compatibility. Debugging L2 issues.

KAVERI(S4810): Dell Force10 S4810 is an ultra-low-latency 10/40GbE top-of-rack switch purpose-built for applications in high-performance data center and computing environments.

Responsibilities: Development and debugging the issues in L2 features(Spanning tree protocol, RSTP, MSTP, PVST, Vlan, MLL, Sticky mac, LACP etc.) raised . RAINIER(Z9500): Dell Active Fabric switch. Z9500 is a compact, next-generation switch/router designed for industry-leading, high-density 10/40GbE aggregation in a data center.

Responsibilities: Handling L2 task bring up issues, Architectural compatibility code development, Feature Enhancement “Dynamic vlan programming for Higig ports”, Unit Testing of L2 features, debugging the L2 issues.

Research and development for multilevel packet buffering for the device which have Leaf-spine architecture, it can reduce the packet loss in case of high bandwidth micro flow. PEARL:

Feature: Flow Based Hashing (it was improved hashing based feature, supported by Broadcom Trident+ onwards chipset, which help to handle traffic polarization in multi- layer network for ECMP members /LAG / HIGIG ports. Responsibilities: Designing for the feature implementation, Coding for the Feature, UTP preparation, Unit testing.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS:

E-COPS: It was an online police system where complaints could be made online, could see the process of the case, Police can view complains and work accordingly and update those case. Hierarchy of post has their privilege of access of data of case and profile of the police. The police station will be taken as area basis and the case and officer for that will be assigned by according higher authorization.
