Oregon Department of Energy

Energy Facility Siting Analyst February 2013- Present

Managed energy facilities as they went through a comprehensive standards based siting application process. Involved large amounts of statutory analysis and application to unique situations and projects. Had to balance the needs and interests of other government agencies, applicants, and community groups. Occasionally tracked energy related legislation for its potential impact on energy facility siting. Required to write complex conditions covering a large variety of fields and track compliance with those conditions.

Pacific Power, Portland, OR

Legal Intern May 2010 – August 2011

Legal work involving primarily energy, contract and corporate law. Worked closely with the compliance department on many NERC and CIP compliance issues. Balanced a large workload from 8 different attorneys. Wrote and reviewed contracts, performed large amounts of legal research and drafted many regulatory filings.

Teufel Holly Farms, Portland, OR

Program Coordinator Oct. 2004 – Present (Winter Seasonal)

Managed customer’s production orders from start to finish. Worked to help get daily shipments of holiday greens out. Involved processing orders all the way down to packaging and loading delivery trucks. Long hours partially worked outside and required a good work ethic. Was asked to fulfill other office tasks as well including faxing, mailing, and copying.
