TE Connectivity is a leading provider of connectivity solutions namely power, data and signal in automotive and aerospace broadband communications.

TE Connectivity, Shirwal, is a manufacturing unit of wiring harness for automotive HVAC and airbags. I was working as a Graduate Trainee in Department of Airbag Harness Manufacturing. Effective utilization of machine hours for 6 machines, managing 70 employees and material management are tasks that I performed. Getting the best performance out of such a wide variety of employees helped me to develop as a leader and improve my communication skills. My daily tasks contributed towards the successful completion of the monthly work plan designed by me. For the creation and execution of monthly plan we used basic SAP transactions.

Trainee Design Engineer at Grind Master Machines Pvt. Ltd October 2014-May 2015

Grind Master Machines designs and manufactures widest ranges of special purpose machines for the process of deburring, grinding, polishing and micro finishing to suit every industry need worldwide. Mainly Company’s customers are in Automobile and Cookware sectors.

I was working as trainee engineer in Design Department .For development of special purpose machines according to requirement, requires knowledge of basic design and manufacturing principles, 3D modeling skills, material knowledge and ACCEPTA transactions for material procurement. Design of such SPM’s developed my 3D imagination and practical design implementation skills. For design and manufacturing of machine parts, I have used Solid Edge ST4 part modeling, assembly and sheet metal environment.

Project Experience

Generation of electricity from speed- breaker(Final Year Project)

Designed a system to generate electricity by converting downward displacement of speed breaker into rotary motion. This design integrates springs, chain and sprocket arrangement, bicycle rim and a dynamo as a system to produce electricity. Creating an efficient design within a given budget was the main challenge.

Achievements

President of ROTARACT Club Of Pune Tilak Road for the year 2011-12 and treasurer for the year 2010-11. This was a newly established club and attracting new members and managing them was the main challenge. It was a learning experience in terms of event, people and finance management.

Successfully completed Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing course certified by College of Engineering Pune in the year 2012. Learnt Auto Cad, ANSYS, CATIA and CNC programming.

Received a ‘B’ for the NCC ‘A Certificate’ exam. We were taught to be disciplined, organized and healthy. Took part in Annual Training Camp.

Awarded first class for 4 Indian classical singing exams certified by Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.

Completed German Language Level 1 Certified by Max Mueller Bhavan.
