Hired as a developer for an online newspaper publishing company. My workload consisted of the following:

Developing PHP back-end code in tandem with custom Drupal 6 modules and local databases

Collaborating with other engineers using frequent commits with SVN

Writing and maintaining node.js code for AWS Lambda and S3 services: I was tasked to improve the company’s PDF to Thumbnail conversion process using AWS Lambda.

Adding functionality to the company’s own administrative (LAMP) website, such as efficiency checks for employees, email notifications, etc.

Troubleshooting problems involving the PDF specification: diagnosed and solved conversion anomalies with Ghostscript

Aiding production staff as they needed it - was “on-call” every day of the week

Worked as a technician and junior system administrator for a web hosting company. Various responsibilities included:

Building 1U and 2U servers for deployment.

Answering and forwarding tickets from clientele.
