•During my six years experience in the U.S. Army, I was a Power Generation/Diesel Mechanic. I have a proven ability to thoroughly troubleshoot and accurately diagnose equipment failures in a timely manner. Having a hands-on electrical and mechanical background has allowed me to understand the interworking’s of my equipment first-hand, and become an expert in my area. My leadership skills were also honed during my time in the military. I trained my team on all of the mechanical equipment in our space and learned how to prioritize my team’s work which made us exceedingly efficient in our day-to-day work. My position was a highly visible part of my overall Military Unit and I took pride on delivering my part to the best of my ability.

2009 – 2015 Power Generation Repairer/Head Technician, U.S. Army, Fort Bragg, NC
•Supervised teams of 3 members ensuring service schedules were met and job Work Orders were distributed properly
•Met deadlines on work orders by prioritizing the teams work and being extremely organized
•Troubleshooting of generators to figure out a number of potential issues (not starting; not producing full power; sensors not working properly; running but not producing any power, etc.)
•Serviced all generator ahead of schedule – this required hands-on mechanical and electrical experience
•Worked with 120V up to 440V power
•Ordered parts as needed based on urgency requirements, budgets and time constrains
•Kept daily service records of parts installed and received
