Employment History:

11/2013 to 06/2015: Baker Hughes: Assigned to the Aberdeen European Rotator Pool (UK & Norway) as a MWD/LWD Specialist working in Offshore Deep Water projects.

Services / Tools Run: Directional + Gamma-VSS, Resistivity; OnTrak; CoPilot Drilling Dynamics; LithoTrak (Density-Neutron-Acoustic Caliper), Zonetrak (Bit Resistivity), TestTrak (Formation Pressure Tester), EDAR and SoundTrak (Acoustic), Wired Pipe, MWD/LWD for Rotary Steerable “AutoTrak” and motor assemblies.

11/2010 to 11/2013: Baker Hughes: International Rotator Pool, MWD/LWD Specialist assigned to a major Deepwater exploration project offshore Israel for Noble Energy. During this period, had the chance to work with the Baker Hughes team supporting the Project visiting the customer’s offices, participating in the morning operations meetings and helping in the resolution of MWD/LWD related issues.

Services / Tools Run: basic directional and advanced MWD/LWD tools including CoPilot Drilling Dynamics, Annular Pressure. Wells drilled were mostly directional and some vertical. Responsibilities and functions included using the drilling dynamics information (Vibrations, Annular Pressure, ECD, and Bending Moment) and liaising with Noble Wellsite Coordinator to manage vibration and ECD to improve performance and avoid potential downhole tool failures. Work with the Baker Hughes team, attending customer’s morning meetings to assist with MWD/LWD issues troubleshooting and resolution. Writing End of well Reports (Recaps)

08/2010 to 10/2010: Baker Hughes: International Rotator pool, MWD/LWD specialist loaned to Bolivia. Run MWD/LWD tools and provided support in land with the TRUTRAK and VERTITRAK tools. Big hole holes drilled were very challenging, slow drilling, hard rock with high formation dip angles, strong deviation tendency.

04/2009 to 08/2010: Baker Hughes: International Rotator Pool, MWD/LWD field specialist assigned to Mexico’s PEMEX’s Offshore Projects. During this period had the chance to train new local MWD Engineers in both the field and the office. Also worked with the BHIO team (Integrated Operations) supporting the Projects by visiting the customer’s offices, participating in the morning operations and helping in the resolution of MWD/LWD related issues. I was also assigned to the Baker Hughes Remote Operation Center inside PEMEX’s drilling dept. providing MWD/LWD support to ongoing offshore operations along with experienced Well Planner and Drilling Engineers. Tools run included High Temperature MWD services (GE tool). Wells drilled were Directional (J & S shapes), High Angle and High Temperature.

12/07 to 03/ 2009: Baker Hughes INTEQ: MWD filed specialist in the Mid Continent USA (Oklahoma City). Started as a trainee, then moved up to 2nd hand and became Lead Hand in November 2008.

Services / Tools Run/ Type of wells: Directional + Gamma + VSS in vertical, directional and horizontals

Main responsibilities and functions included: Providing MWD Directional and Gamma Ray services in oil and gas wells, vertical and directional/ horizontal, for different operators in Oklahoma and Texas. Monitoring and ensuring effective use of downhole and surface equipment to fully optimize the use of all equipment to enhance overall job efficiency. Obtaining information from MWD tools, including VSS (Vibration-Stick-Slip), analyzing it and disseminating this information to the customers on a daily basis. Liaising with Directional Drillers, rig contractor and customer representatives to ensure smooth operations and understanding of job requirements. Prepare daily reports, well logs and pre/post job briefings.
