I am very enthusiastic in pursuing a career in the field in business because of my love of statistical analysis, problem solving and Excel. A career in finance offers me the opportunity to grow in my career, while utilizing my prior experience and course work in accounting, database systems such as SQL and MS suite.
During my time as a PIA auditor, I followed ever changing policies and procedures based on FCC regulations, analyzed grant application and supporting documents. This analyses required great attention to detail, request missing information from applicants, and efficiency to meet goals set by FCC. In the duration of my time at Solix, I remained in top ten performers in department wide rankings. At Thales Avionics, my initial position entailed tracking and maintaining all test equipment with in FAA regulations. I setup an Excel spreadsheet to track and provide reminders for upcoming maintenance on test equipment. Later improved the process by incorporating my excel spreadsheet with an Access database, which created monthly lists of all equipment that needed attention. After transferring into the engineering department, I was responsible for communicating critical information about problematic aircraft system between engineering departments at US location and main headquarters in France. From my coursework, I am knowledgeable with financial statements, cash flows, and analysis of statistical data and probability distributions.
