JOB DESCRIPTION

To install, adjust, Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical equipments To attend the break down calls, repair and replacing the parts as required To use Al-Shifa hospital management System to generate PPM task and updating PPM, to enter new equipment and generate Asset ID, to know breakdown calls and update completion/pending status of breakdowns, to indent parts from store

To Maintain and repair the biomedical equipments by completing maintenance schedules, conducting tests, following manufacturer instruction, troubleshooting and repairing malfunction, evaluating service contracts To Evaluate the safety test by safety analyzer of bio-medical equipment To Coordinate with service personnel of various medical equipment companies for Contract PPM and Breakdown calls and to maintain service log books

To minimize equipment down time and equipment failure call back To provide maintenance of biomedical equipment according to the International Standards & Guidelines To approve new biomedical equipment by conducting tests, establishing, adjusting, calibrating and testing performance

To Handle technical & operational activities of installing biomedical equipments To Update inventory of all types of equipments available in the hospital To maintain documentation by making all types of reports like service report, commissioning Report, transfer form, Condemnation report, Outside Repair Report, PPM reports, Demonstration report, Contract PPM and service agreement, Tender, Quotation, L.P.O., D.O., Purchase orders To train, advice and assist clinicians and other personnel in application and proper use of equipment To advice in Designing, implementation, planning of biomedical requirement according to the hospital standard
