Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering. Completed both degrees in six years with Honours and full scholarship, while working full time and supporting a family of six.

Over 30 years of broad based international engineering experience, grounded in management and project engineering practices. Worked in Fortune Five Hundred Company and for over 20 years have successfully run his own Engineering Company.

1989 – PRESENT: PRESIDENT: HIGH WATER HOLDING (HWH)

HWH is an Environmental/Ecological Engineering Company established in 1989. HWH specializes in engineered environmental strategies for the 21st Century, using innovative technology to create, develop, and manage sustainable.

Our speciality is Project Engineering and Management. We do this using proven technology, applied research and networking. This ambition requires excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Proposal writing, budgeting, community and government liaison are also required.

Partial list of relevant projects:

Project Engineering and Management of large and small projects. Jeff was senior project engineer at Textron Lycoming, facilitating the design, fabrication and testing of various turbine engines. Jeff has also contracted with companies, governments and private citizens to complete projects within budget and on time. Examples include: Georgia Pacific, Martin Marietta and the Canadian government.

Climate Change Venerability Infrastructure Studies for First Nation Communities. This innovative project uses Engineers Canada’s PIEVC protocol. This method is a holistic integration of Engineering and Climatology. It is an optimal tool that allows the client to make informed decisions about infrastructure in both the present and the future. This opportunity requires an experienced and knowledgeable engineer with a wide scope and understanding of engineering principles. Because the protocol includes public input social skills are paramount. Jeff is the senior engineer for all the studies done.

Inspection and Certification of Lifting Devices, including but not limited to: cranes, hoists, boom trucks, wire rope, slings etc. Jeff performs various procedures to inspection and certifies the safety of lifting devices using Federal Standards and industrial protocols

Project Management for energy and building renovation of the Princeton Club of New York. This project in New York City involved design, project management, installation and commissioning of a Co-Generation system, a redesigned HVAC system and a major revocation. Jeff is responsible for the LEED certification of the entire construction project. This contract was with Chandler LLC of Greenwich Ct.

Oil Spill Clean Up and Tank Removals (Site Professional) for various clients using Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA) and other government Standards.

Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments for lending institutions to facilitate sale of commercial businesses. This work requires both office and field experience.

Technical advocate for individuals requiring engineering expertise to move forward with legal disputes. This work includes: on-site testing, reporting and project methodology

On-Site Septic and Waste Water Disposal (QP1) for private and commercial clients

Erosion, Sedimentation and Development Plan for a private developer in the Inverness area. His development covers over 75 serviced lots.
