As a front desk supervisor, I was responsible for the following duties: Overseeing the daily work of the receptionists, file clerks and transcriptionists to ensure smooth efficient operation of the office; to ensure that patient appointments, concerns and questions are dealt with in a timely, courteous manner; to see that patient bills and insurance claims are sent in a timely manner; to exercise clear communication between staff and patients regarding appointments.
