Responsible for entire 2nd shift molding operations which includes 22 employees in grinding department, rigging / coating and molding. We produce a diverse group of castings for various customers. This includes but not limited to shift schedules, various reports, process monitoring, and daily management meetings.

Through the use of TS Quality System, process control, and visual inspection I was responsible for monitoring all jobs molded on three molding lines. I was the contact with both machine suppliers and customers on all scrap issues. In this capacity I used sampling, gauging, root cause analysis, and close process control to eliminate scrap issues.

• Devised methods of inspection of machine scrap to determine root cause of scrap and re-machining of parts to give customers a good component for assembly while reducing internal scrap.

• Created gauges through print tolerances to ensure total quality management preventing the shipment of non- conforming parts.

• Compiled daily scrap reports and presided over daily scrap meetings discussing current scrap issues.

• Created scrap pareto report by dollars as well as on going scrap chart analysis for daily war room meetings.
