Ensure proper planning, organizing and control measures.
Morning meetings with the team before production starts.
Allocation of duties or tasks of the day to team members.
Ensuring correct processes are followed according to the work instructions and the quality there of is the best first time.
Ensure employees adhere to health and safety of the organization
Risk assessments with the team
Attend safety meetings
Check on a monthly basis that safety equipment or PPE was in good condition
Stock control and data capturing.
Training of new employees.
Produce finished products in accordance to customer specifications.
Process improvement.
Give constant feedback to Production Manager on the Performance of the process.
Procuring of components, raw material, shop floor materials and ensuring that all equipment is calibrated.
Making sure that the Shop floor and Machines are well maintained, clean and tidy.
Finding the root cause of a yield drop of the process.
Performing measurement system analysis and failure mode and effects analysis.
Creating control methods and control plans to improve the yield
