Application Development Manager

Mainframe development team upgrade of HIPAA Enrollment transaction processing for inbound, outbound and Data Warehouse extract files delivered to carrier clients.

Data mapping of transaction data into and out of a standard canonical format was critical to the project's success.

Enhancements supported the company's implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) new enrollment processing mandated by CMS.

The new service offering processed 20% of all initial enrollments nationally for the ACA enrollment period in 2013.

Managed internal and off-shore support staff to resolve problems and implement required enhancements.

Implementation of a third-party EDI solution for processing HIPAA electronic claims.
