I have created test plans, for various platforms, databases and software applications and assisted users with software problem resolution.

Manual testing of .Net Financial Applications using Agile methodology for both upgrades to the current system and new application development.

Create Test Checklists from user guides, test scripts and documentation received from Product Owners regarding all financial applications for a large data center upgrade and relocation.

Create, update and add conditions to test scripts in Excel spread sheets exported / imported to HPQC.

Consultant, Business Systems Analyst – Test Script Writer

Created functional test scripts in Excel from Wireframes provided by the vendor.

Created test scenarios from the scripts and stored them in Excel workbooks on SharePoint.

Searched for defects in the wireframes and reported them to the client.

Business Systems Analyst II

Researched and documented user requirements for application modifications/enhancements and upgrades for Court Juvenile Applications: JAI (Juvenile Automated Index –Mainframe), JMOM (Juvenile Minute Order Manager – VisualBasic Script/Oracle) or JADE (Juvenile Automated Dependency Enhancement – Power Builder/Oracle).

Reviewed the requirements, created test plans, tested, reported and logged defects, and provided results to management for modifications or enhancements.

Worked in conjunction with LA County Developers to ensure test enviroment(s) and data were conducive for testing, ensured downloads and uploads were completed and re-tested all defect repairs.

Assisted in creating the JAI Administrative Handbook and created Defect Report Forms and Defect Logs for JAI, JMOM and JADE applications.Researched and completed consolidation of cases, deleted arrest records, and updated or corrected various data tables. Processed JAI & JADE ACF2 requests and set up court users in JAI.

Project Leader II, Systems Quality

Hired, mentored and completed yearly reviews for five QA Analysts.

Lead the Software QA team in black box, usability, and through put testing of data from internet servers integrated into legacy front end.

Tested for deployment of international sites including: UK, US, Germany, Holland, Italy and Japan. Developed test plans, scripts, tracked defects and created reports.

Tested Viking legacy ‘Order Processing’ and ‘Order Analysis’ systems for Y2K compliance of domestic, European systems and Australian General Sales Tax upgrades. This testing mimed the daily operations of Viking Systems in development and test environments that included an AS400 with complete copies of files.

Tested and developed test cases and followed scripts. Entered data, ran nightly jobs and operations. Reported defects, tracked and re-tested. Completed summary logs and reports.

Project Leader I, Order Processing / Application Support

Lead a team of four Application Support Specialists in requirements, black box and usability testing of all upgrades and modifications of the Viking Legacy Order Processing, Order Anslysis, and Financial systems.

Provided Helpdesk with second stage development support for all in house applications.

Magic Support Specalist

Conducted user and stakeholder meetings to document work flow, processes, define business rules and requirements for a new Order Processing system.

Created a statement of work and documentation that included the functional requirements a for new Order Processing system.

Requirement, blackbox, usability, load and efficiency testing of a new client–server (Power Builder / Sybase via RS600 to AS/400) Order Processing system for domestic deployment.

Requirements gathering, gap analysis and test plan development including scope, test cases, scenarios, defect reporting and tracking methods.
