Duties include designing studies, creating analytical plans, submitting ethics, conducting quantitative statistical analyses on large scale datasets (using SPSS/STATA/some SAS), including data cleaning, merging datasets, creating indexes, correlations, diagnostics, t-tests, ANOVA, SEM, factor analysis (i.e., validating scales), regression, logistic regression, growth curve modeling, bootstrapping, and HLM.

Conducted research on victimization, delinquency, and both physical and mental health outcomes (including writing literature reviews and manuscripts to submit for publication), prepared written reports, and presented findings to peers.

Research Assistant, University of Ottawa, Department of Psychology 2006-2010

Conducted health-related research including: study design, creation and development of online surveys, ethics submissions and literature reviews, (including the use of health field-related databases (e.g. PubMed), as well as use of Endnote, and other reference management systems), data collection (including obtaining informed consent for questionnaire-based research), as well as explaining questionnaires to subjects and arranging for subjects to complete surveys.
