Dynamic Rental Systems- Shop foreman/Lead Mechanic (May/2015- Present)

Solely responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of 28 vehicles and 60 trailers, from double rail trailers to vacuum tankers up to and including PM’s and rebuilding on both trailers and tractors. All paperwork associated with the position of shop foreman. Rebuilt shop from ground up. It is now a streamlined, well-functioning unit. Implemented loss-prevention program which included inventory control, tracking, and security camera installation and monitoring. Responsible for implementation of an electronic tracking system by utilizing Microsoft/Excel programs in order to move toward a paperless system, saving money and time by creating better tracking of maintenance and Pms. Reduced overall repair expenditures by creating hands on in-house maintenance procedures and eliminating costs associated with hiring of off-site contractors or vendors. Reduced overall parts expenditures by streamlining purchasing and tracking all parts purchases from point of purchase to point of use.

Texas Disposal Systems - Diesel Technician/ Shift Leader. (October 2013 – November 2014)

Responsible for maintaining a fleet of 20 Refuse related vehicles and two backhoes. Ensured all work was completed in a timely manner, correctly, and all paperwork was filled out properly to communicate the needs of the fleet to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsible for inventory control, preventative maintenance schedules, and any repairs that were necessary in the course of each work day.

A&R Demolition - Diesel Technician/Lead Mechanic. (May 2013 – September 2013)

Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance needs of 10 end dumps and numerous other pieces of construction equipment. Implemented a tire repair program, whereby saving the company around $200 per tire. Ordering parts, parts pick-up and communicating with Spanish-speaking personnel to determine issues with broken down equipment was just one of many daily tasks. Main duties were to re-build shop. Completed as assigned.

Organics by Gosh - Operations /Lead Technician (Jan 2013 – May 2013) Responsible for restructuring maintenance department, streamlining efficiency. Managed three other mechanics, and provided an employee friendly work atmosphere. Instrumental in getting the company up to TCEQ Standards by working directly with Travis County Sheriff's Department and ensuring the company met all environmental impact standards. Implemented better records keeping to ensure all work was completed in accordance with DOT regulations. This was a contracted job.

BOSS Fleet Services - Owner/Road Mechanic (2007-2013)

Customer procurement and retention, Truck/Automotive repair, field Technician/Heavy equipment mechanic, sales, bookkeeping, parts ordering, negotiating, invoicing as well as repairs on mobile shop equipment. I was responsible for all aspects of running a mobile fleet service company. Responsible for managing the Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas region’s maintenance needs of the third largest energy supplier in the nation, (Inergy Propane) and saved their company approximately $200,000 in maintenance costs in the first year. I handled then needs of Lowe’s Home Improvement stores in the Austin region by keeping them up to legal specifications through repairing and maintaining their fleet. I managed a fleet of six of my own trucks and six crews until I closed my business in 2013.
