Current Employment- working as a state Coordinator of wada foundation.

Worked as a human right monitor for the human right Organization People’s Watch in EU – funded National Projecton Preventing Torture in India (NPPT), involved in fact finding missions on torturecases in Uttar Pradesh. From 2006 to 2008

Worked as a state Coordinator of kisan mazadoor mahila sangathan, uttar Pradesh. From 2004 to 2006

Worked as a district coordinator of varanasi in Uttar Pradesh Bhoomi sudhar Avam Shram Adhikar Abhiyan Samiti. From 2004 to 2004.

Worked as a Uttar Pradesh in National Forum of Forest People & forest Workers (N.R.R.P.F.W.) in uttar pradesh from 2005 to 2007.

I was involve in these movements for organizing people and organize events as well.

Now I am stete cordinetar of Wada foundation .organization which is working s effective iplementation of Panchyati Raj Act at grass root level. on Dalit rights, Women empowerment and functioning of PDS system and proper implementation of MNREGA Act. I am also monitoring and raising the issues related to RTE Act, RTI Act and Police Atrocities.

Fight against police torture.

The cases of torture and atrocities are very common in our society. Many of the cases we have seen where police emerged as party. Apart from that the caste base atrocities are also here. Fight on the issue we stabilize Pratadana Mukti Morcha and won meny cases of police atrocities . Now this morcha is spreading in other District. I am coordinating this morcha since last 3 year.

Role in South Asia Social Forum

It was schedule that the world social forum process will take place in India. In this regards the South Asia Social Forum is scheduled in 1st week of march-2014. For the smooth functioning of South Asia Social Forum a secretariat is stabilize in Lucknow. I am taking the responsibility in secretariat with two others fellows. Here I m looking after the networking part.

Also active Participation in world social forum Mumbai- 2004. Active Participation in India social forum, New Delhi-2006. Contributed actively as a Volunteer in Different Campaign of:- People summit against poverty organized as a part of global call to Action against poverty in New Delhi- 2005. Jan Caravan-2005 (Anti WTO Compaign). Sangharsh 2007- In New Delhi.

Mr amit mishra is a sincere hardworking person. He is well known for his leadership, analytical and organizational capacities. He has good understanding on the contemporary development issues. He has organised dalits particularly women in many gram panchayats in Sitapur,lucknow District. These groups have been facilitated on contemporary development issues, leadership capabilities, mass mobilisation and mass struggle by Mr Amit. This has lead to fight for accessibility towards government welfare schemes, raise voice against implementation of government welfare schemes particularly in MNREGA and PDS. These groups were also mobilised and motivated for injustice in the society like landlessness, atrocities and inequality in the society. In this process a good number of youth has been developed as cadre who has been facilitating the rural mass in the struggle for justice and equality. He is also engaged in providing services for facilitation of other voluntary organisations on leadership and cadre building processes.
