Title : “Relative Attitude Estimation from Vector Observation.”

Team size : 3

Duration : 2.5 months

Project carried out under the guidance in ISRO Satellite Centre, Bengaluru.

Description :

The main aim of the project is to estimate the relative attitude. Attitude estimation is of major importance in guidance and control system of unmanned aerial vehicle. The attitude estimation plays a vital role in space for docking of spacecraft. The attitude estimation is one of the application where VIS-NAV can be effectively employed. Obtaining the camera object position i.e. 2-D from collinearity equation. These values can be solved using numerical method for determining relative attitude. Numerical methods employed here are;

1. Linear Algebra Resection Approach (LARA)

2. Davenport-Q method
