BSA/Project Manager September 2014 – August 2015

I was brought into the IT-Finance team to serve as the SME for SharePoint methodologies, and help develop department processes, and best practices. I’m involved in every stage of projects from Initiation thru closing.

Currently I’m leading a team for the conversion of five workflow systems that are currently in Lotus Notes, and we will be creating the same applications in BPM workflows.

My responsibilities include meeting with clients and eliciting requirements for projects. Once the requirements and design mockups are completed I submit to the client for review and approval to ensure the project needs have been correctly translated and the scope of the project has been communicated.

My team is responsible for site creations, as well as creation of any document libraries, list, and creation of site pages with tools such as web parts, and some Java Script.

Nintex is used for creating SharePoint workflows, so we design the workflows, conduct proper testing based on functional and nonfunctional requirements.

I’m responsible for the education and training of my staff, and customer base for SharePoint 2010, and 2013, in addition to any support issues that arise once a product is in production.

Epiq Systems (The Resource Group)

Product Owner/BSA October 2013 – August 2014

I was hired to be the BSA for a short term project for their SDLC team for Class Action websites, and tooling enhancements

My responsibilities included eliciting requirements in an Agile environment, and developing the proper mockups and UAT testing documentation for each project.

I was successful in meeting very tight timeframes, and working cohesively with my team, supporting them and the project in any way possible.

I created and maintained backlogs, User Stories and mock ups in Team Server Foundation (TFS)

I assisted in developing many new business processes for the department, and tracking task to completion within our ticketing system.

I developed pages for the team in SharePoint 2010 for the team to have a central knowledge base page to share ideas, and articles that helped us with our job.

I assisted QA with testing when asked, and led many of the daily scrum team meeting.

City of Portland (Vanderhouwen & Associates) June 2012 – October 2013

Systems Analyst

As a Systems Analyst, I worked with a team of four other members who were responsible for the deployment of 4500+ Windows 7 systems. Included in the deployment process was racking up systems and imaging them using Ghost 32, and installing custom software per bureau needs.

While on the floor deploying for each bureau we were responsible for tracking and resolving any issues for end users, and training for the new systems installed.

We were also responsible for ticket creation and closure, and ensuring that each node was in the correct OU in Active Directory.

New Relic (thru Colabrus) September 2011 – June 2012

Project Coordinator, Portland, OR

As Project Coordinator, it was my responsible for coordinating various projects that allowed the company to grow within its office space, and enhance their technologies needs that would allow them to continue to code and build their products.

I worked with Sr. managers with their monthly expense budgets, and ensured that reports were submitted to the corporate office in a timely manner.

I worked with outside contractors for RFB requests, and overseeing work progress on office projects. Once a bid was approved by management then I would work with the service contractor for scheduling the jobs.

I organized inventory, and assisted in purchasing of equipment (Computers, Printers, Scanners) for the team and office needs.
