-Oversee daily operations of 100 unit senior housing complex (REAC inspection 99%)
-Solicited bids for capital projects from outside contractors; after decision by management,
responsible for supervising contractors to assure projects were being preformed as per
agreement. Projects included the replacement of mechanical systems such as properly sized
rooftop HVAC and hot water boilers; removal and replacement of leaky underground diesel

-Rehabbed older buildings by gutting the interior of old kitchen and bath fixtures; removed
crumbling plaster walls, old plumbing and electrical. New plumbing and electrical were
performed by tradesmen, I assisted where possible to keep costs down. Hanging dry wall,
refinishing floors, installation of new kitchen and bath were completed by myself and helper.
Import/Export:
Leather Goods Importer Partnership San Antonio, Texas 1986-1989
-Attempted to setup import business of leather goods from Mexico which included items
such as shoes, belts and vests. Travelled to Mexico to find and secure suppliers. Most
suppliers were small vendors with whom agreements were made with a handshake. As
orders were placed, shipments were not always filled and quality of goods was lacking.
Agri-Business/Mining:
Plant Controller: Campbell Soup Inc., Sinaloa, Mexico 1984-1985
-Assisted with the negotiating process leading to the leasing of land from farm owners in
Sinaloa, Mexico for the planting, growing and harvesting of tomato plants to be processed
into tomato paste. As a maquiladora plant all product was for U.S. consumption.
