“DESIGN & FABRICATION OF PEDAL POWERED WASHING MACHINE”

Description:

Washing machine technology was initially developed as a way to reduce the physical drudgery of this laborious scrubbing and rubbing process, by providing an open basin or sealed container with paddles or fingers to automatically agitate the clothing. The earliest machines were often hand-operated but were built with the belief that the machine itself was faster and easier to operate than washing the clothing by hand directly. It is very high revolutionary project in rural life style development. In this project we have to show how a man can drive a washing machine without electricity while it takes his regular exercise on his exercise bicycle.

Presented paper “Design and fabrication of pedal operated washing machine” in a National Level praoject competition.
