Started as a systems administrator for a Honeywell midrange computer running the DPS operating system and proprietary business software. Went on to manage a team of programmers and database architects to legacy this technology and successfully migrate all data to an ARIX midrange computer running the SCO Unix operating
system and the Dataflex RDMS. This configuration was later successfully ported to a Linux distribution running on a microcomputer thus reducing technology hardware costs. The team successfully integrated the SBT Accounting system with the Dataflex customer database to create an early form of what has come to be known as Enterprise-wide CRM. As a result of my success as project manager and completion of my Masters degree, I was promoted to Treasurer of which the accounting, finance and information technology departments became my responsibility.
