Career History
INTEL CORPORATION
Technology Development Process Engineer 2003-Present
Designed part handling systems and subsystems for material handling systems for the semiconductor package assembly, collaborating with vendors to develop and prototype fabrication of new systems.
Designed, facilitated, and analyzed experiments utilizing statistical data analysis and JMP.
Created tool operation programs and developed/introduced assembly processes for high-precision, vision recognition enabled pick and place tools.
Collaborated with receiving engineering teams in Malaysia, China, Vietnam, and Costa Rica to ensure complete technology transfers of collateral materials, machine/process parameters, toolset installation, and baseline data.
Key Contributions:
Facilitated a $200K upgrade of a robotic pick-and-place tool, effectively doubling processing speed and reducing the number of new tools required.
Developed a new vacuum nozzle system that was utilized in the last 3 generations of pick-and-place tool sets.
Enabled a single set of tool collaterals to be utilized by multiple different products, significantly decreasing costs.
Senior Equipment Technician Prior to 2003
Performed preventative maintenance and component level repair of semi-conductor manufacturing equipment.
Trained, supervised, and mentored junior technicians.
Worked with process engineers to develop, install and test upgrades on equipment.
Facilitated courses on emergency response, chemical spills, and metal sputtering theory as a certified Intel instructor.
Teaching Experience:
CENTRAL ARIZONA COLLEGE 2006-2007
Adjunct Faculty
Facilitated Electromechanical Technology and Radio Frequency RF/High Vacuum courses for the Manufacturing Engineering program.
Introduced an actual semiconductor manufacturing tool for the Electromechanical Technology course to demonstrate real-world uses and functions.
Encouraged and prepared high performing students to apply for entry-level positions at Intel.
RIO SALADO COLLEGE 1999
Technical Consultant/Instructor
Collaborated with other faculty to develop curriculum for a new 2 year Manufacturing Engineering program.
Presented curriculum to faculty across the country.
