4 years field experience as a site Engineer:

Worked as an apprenticeship Engr in N.T.D.C (National Transmission and Dispatch Company) Sheikh Muhammad 500K grid stations.

Worked as an apprenticeship Engr in N.T.C (National Telecommunication Corporation)

Currently working with M/S AALCO as a site Engr/Electrical Supervisor, Since May 2012 till Date.

Description of Works & Responsibilities:

Supervision & Controlling of Field staff for the activities under Electrical GTC of Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (kahrama).

Replacement & Commissioning of RMU, FSFP, Transformers (500 KV A, 800KVA, 1000KVA, 1250KVA.1600KVA) & HV panel of different manufacturers e.g Alahlia, Tamco, Siemens etc.

Installation and Commissioning of HV Cables.

Installation & Verification of load to connect appropriate capacity of generator for Shut Down.

Mobile substation Installation for bypassing the existing substation.

Arranging & conducting pressure test to confirm the dielectric strength of the newly laid cables before commissioning & live phasing before paralyzing.

HV & LV cable faults repairing & restoration of supply for the Qatar electricity & Water Corporation.

New Connection supply to new customers of Kahrama.

Checking the insulation resistance value & continuity for the confirmation of healthiness of cable before installation & commissioning of new cables.

Supervision of HV & LV cables termination & jointing works.

Installation of PRV & REF relays for the control & protect ion of transformers.

Replacement of old & deteriorated PILE cables by XPLE cables through proper shutdown & Co-ordination with Kahrama Engineers.

Ensuring the Excavation of proper depth & proper backfilling & re-instatement for the relevant cables lying & burial as per Kahrama Standards.

Arranging Road opening permission from the works depth. Qatar for the faults repairing under asphalts & introducing new ducts for cables.

Arranging police permission & inspection during length road opening job.

Authorized person for receiving safety documents, via PTW & LOA from the utility.

Arranging LV & HV Repairing teams for faults repairing with Co-ordination of KM Engrs.

Managing the inspection of ongoing HV & LV schemes, new Extension & faults repaired sites with kahramaa.

Working as Co-coordinators for the M/S Aalco.

Well familiar with the PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment’s.

Kahrama approved licensed for Inspection and monitoring
