Responsible for the development and implementation of software for this leading provider of Commodity Trading products. Programs extensively with SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, as well as scripting tools such as Perl. Participate in implementing the COMMODITY XL™ that is an N-tiered, middleware independent commodity trading and risk management system featuring Java-based component architecture with XML and SOAP messaging over HTTP and JMS. Responsibilities include relational data modeling, middleware programming, writing triggers and stored procedures, performance tuning.
Installed Sql Server 2008, Sql Server 2012 servers. Performed Sql Server maintenance tasks, such as statistics collection, index maintenance and backup. Created and monitored Maintenance Automation Tasks.
Provided Database support for implementation, migration, testing and release of company’s software products. Wrote database DDL, DML scripts, stored procedures and triggers. Performed performance tuning.
Implemented the Market Risk Reporting System for Morgan Stanley. It is a data warehouse project that provides consolidated database, flexible data capturing and reporting for risk positions (Perl, Shell Scripts, T-SQL, ERwin, Unix and Sybase).
Developed the P/L Batch Process that computes trade prices and P/L for different trade types, which include Physical, Swap, Options, Future and Foreign Currency (MS SQL Server, Sybase, Triggers, Stored Procedures, ERwin).
Implemented the Auto-Invoice Batch Process that processes all outstanding settlements for the given selection criteria in counterpart sequence (MS SQL Server, Sybase, Stored Procedure).
Developed the Daily Refinery Margin Calculation Batch Process that calculates the actual refinery margin based on the crude that are being priced on the current day, their landed prices and the prices of the products that will be derived from the crude. The refinery margin is used in the Refinery Margin and Position Report System (MS SQL Server, Sybase, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Erwin).

For Cantor Fitzgerald: Participated in the development of a Bond Pricing System. Worked with analysts and evaluators to implement pricing rules. Wrote stored procedures and implemented logical and physical design for bond database. Developed an Intranet based Pricing Module that allowed users to retrieve data from database and view it through Web site (C, T-SQL, Perl, Unix, CGI, HTML and Sybase).
ContacTrace™ - Developed an Automated Job Processing System for this relational database product used for Financial and Financial Services Industry customer tracking. Developed a web based Search Engine on this database system (C++, T-SQL, Perl and Sybase).
Developed a Task Reporting System for distributed delivery of Project Task Reports. The system was designed to deliver reports to users automatically at scheduled time through Intranet. The system also had a Web-based interface, so user could run and view reports through a browser (Java, Perl, T-SQL, Sybase and Shell Script).
Developed a Web Calendar with which users can schedule meetings, appointments and conferences for individuals and groups over browser, view their schedules from browser and get e-mail notifications regarding to their schedules (HTML, CGI, Perl, T-SQL and Sybase).
