COMMITTEES:
Safety Committee: Representative for the cytology department in charge of monthly and yearly inspections, ensuring compliance with CAP, CLIA, Dept. of Ecology, and OSHA.
IDEA Committee: Representative for the Cytology department. Organize events and rewards for all employees. Recently was head of ordering and designing team shirts for company sponsored events for over 200 employees. Including quotes, allocation between 6 accounts, and distribution.
LEAN Team: Head of the Cytology Go Paperless project, coordinating with 6 department consultants to eliminate the need for paper requisitions and worksheets for all cytology specimens. The goals being to reduce time, money, and redundancy in our department.
VOLUNTEER WORK:
Susan G. Komen: Organizer for the two Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure events in our region for Incyte employees. My duties include notification and promotion of the Komen events, tracking registrant information including personal information and payment for registration, providing team shirts for attendees, and pick-up and distribution of packets. Thanks to my efforts Incyte attendance rose from an average of 60 registrants to an average of 80, reaching a record of 101.
