My duties at Exel Inc. are to operate the forklift. It was my duty in the production area to remove product from the production line, stage it, and prepare it for the case packers to re-pack for the customer’s making a better quantity. This particular position also requires that you get production by the amount of grabs you make. We call these moves. Moves meaning we had a RFT system that keeps track of your moves. With every move made, the must be recorded. 150 moves are required daily to acquire your production number. Shipping and loading trucks is also a part of the job criteria. Loading trucks for companies such as Wal-Mart, Target, and other fine grocery stores in the US.

My duties at Bridgestone America Aiken County PSR/LTR Plant are to cut up the old spare pieces of rubber that were not used on the initial making of the tire. Once the spare parts come out, my job is to locate the dull, old, and rusty rubber on the roll and use the blade on a cutter machine to slice it off.
