Brief Description: The scope of work is to develop the concept design of various assemblies of the Engine Department, which is planned to be launched in coming years. The work involved is to create 3D models based on the suggested design and to generate the final 2D drawings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Understanding drawings and estimate the time
Developing 3d models in NX 8.5 with Assembly and all being Parametric.
Modeling casting parts which basically include BREAK DRUM, CONNECTING ROD, ENGINE FLANGE, BOTTOM CLAMP, AXLES, and PILLOW BLOCK COVER.
Remodeling of the parts as per the project requirement and making conceptual design after interactions with the team.

3. OPTIMIZATION OF HEAT LOSES IN LOCOMOTIVE
Client: Gooty Railways
Role: Internship/Student.
Organization: SV Institute of Technology.
Brief Description: Locomotive it is a self-propelled engine usually runs by diesel and electrical power used in railways and it has a 16 cylinders in V shaped alignment, has 4 valves for 1 cylinder. Having this huge structure locomotive emits huge temperature during its operation which is going to be wasted through atmosphere and more temperature is from exhaust pipe. Taking this as a reason we had come to optimize the heat lose through exhaust pipe by applying the thermo guard to the exhaust pipe where some heat lose is consumed. This heat is passed to the propeller to make it pressurized and blow on to the turbine blades to generate power and this power is used in clutching system
